This year, it will be the 10th anniversary since FEMSA Foundation started operating. From its inception, it has been strongly linked to the mission of FEMSA, seeking through social investment the development of sustainable communities in order to have a sustainable company. During this time, we have sought to strengthen our bonds with the Business Units in order to find solutions to the challenges faced by the communities where FEMSA operates. For this purpose, we evolved our approach to develop a solid strategy with innovative, replicable and scalable projects to achieve greater impacts.

Today, we work on key issues for business continuity with strategic partners such as the Tecnológico de Monterrey, the Inter-American Development Bank, the Coca-Cola Foundation, The Nature Conservancy and One Drop. Together, we promote sustainable water management and early childhood development to shape the human capital of the future. Furthermore, we recently celebrated the addition of the FEMSA Cultural Program, which for the past 40 years has been promoting Latin American art as a transformative tool through the FEMSA Collection.

In 2018, we will extend our reach with projects that will have impacts on two sectors: out there, on the society around us, and also on our colleagues.
